George Schneer is an executive management consultant with over 35 years of experience in technology businesses. George works with venture capital investors and senior corporate management to solve management problems in both start-up and mature technology companies.
From 1988 to the present, George served in executive management and on the board of directors for several start-up companies.

Most recently, he was the president and CEO of Ethertronics, which is developing state-of-the-art RF antennas for mobile wireless applications. He also served on the board of Silicon Motion, Inc., which provides integrated multimedia silicon and software solutions for mobile computing devices.
George served on the board of Symphony Systems, Inc., a web-based software start-up developing solutions to integrate factory floor equipment directly with enterprise information applications. He has also served on the board of Market Tools Inc., for which he secured seed venture capital funding as a member of the Band of Angels.
From 1973 to 1988, George held several executive positions at Intel. As vice president and general manager of the Memory Components Division he was responsible for Intel's nonvolatile memories, bubble memories, flash, EPLD, DRAM, and SRAM products. During this period, he also served as vice president and director of quality and reliability where he led the Continuous Quality Improvement effort for all Intel's products. George was also a founding director of Sematech, the industry consortium, and represented Intel on Sematech's board of directors.
Previously he spent several years in research and development at Bell Telephone Laboratories.
